After his surgery, one of Gentrit's favorite things to do was take a bath! He even loved to pretend to take a bath, which is what he and Steve are doing in this picture.
Such a sweet boy. I remember this moment on the porch so clearly. He was sitting contently in my lap, there was a cool breeze in the air and I remember thinking to myself, "Lori, this will soon be over so you had better enjoy every moment with sweet Gentrit." Sadly, I was right and the time flew by way too fast.

Basically, it's a spinach and sour cream mixture, rolled up in dough and arranged in this spiral formation. The closest thing I can compare it to would be a quiche.
