Ali's Summer Dance Camp

Ali had been expressing an interest in taking a dance class again so we decided to put her in a short summer dance camp to make sure she wasn't going to "chicken out" like she did last time we attempted dance. She loved it and did great! She was probably the oldest in her class which kept it from getting too intimidating for her. Here are some shots of our little ballerina.

Baby in the Belly!

Steve and I found out on Easter Sunday that we have been blessed with a new baby. What an awesome Easter it was! Baby will be making his or her grand entrance near another holiday, Christmas (Official due date: 12/28). Here are pics from my first ultrasound in June.

We had so much fun telling the girls. We wanted to make it special so we created a scavenger hunt around the house for clues that spelled out "We're getting a new baby". It was hilarious watching them sort it all out and then the moment it all clicked was so precious. They had comments like:

Ali - "You must have prayed to God for this!!!"

Brooke - "It's just so weird that you can have kids this old and then still be pregnant!"

Both of them kept repeating that they thought it was a joke and it wasn't real, but with mommy's growing belly, they are true believers now. At Ali's birthday party in June the girls got to share the big news with all our extended family via a magic trick.

We will go as a family on August 11 to find out the sex of our newest DeMoor. Can't wait! Ali wants a little sister and Brooke wants a little brother.

Family Photo Shoot

I am a super dooooper procrastinator when it comes to getting pictures made and printed. We had a family photo shoot done back in February and I just now ordered our prints. Here are some of the pics we got. I love how she was able to come to our home and take the pics where we live and make all our memories.. with lizards and horses, by the river. The lovely Tracy Hougham was the photographer.

Ramsey-Roberts Invasion

Ali Uses The Hookah

On the Fourth of July we hung out by the river and swam and rope swung. The kids requested to play with our new Hookah machine and had a blast getting to spend more time underwater looking around. If you're not familiar with a Hookah, it's similar to the concept of SCUBA, but instead of carrying tanks on your back, you're connected by hose to an air compressors that feeds oxygen to your mouthpiece. Steve shot this video with the underwater camera. You can see Ali using the Hookah like a pro and her little hand signals crack us up! What a funny kid :)
