I was flipping through Facebook on my phone while I was waiting for Brooke to get out of school yesterday. Imagine my surprise when I see that Disney has posted something about a 100 year old man celebrating his Birthday at Disney World! I knew that Marie had taken Grandpa Schmitz there but I had not heard about the photos and the interview that followed. They also wrote a small article about it for their Disney World Blog. According to the man who did the interview, they checked the Disney archives and they have no record of anyone officially celebrating their 100th birthday at Disney World before. Grandpa's favorite ride at Disney is "Small World" so that is the picture on Facebook.
