I signed up to parent-partner on the Thursday before Brooke's birthday so we could celebrate in her class. Mrs. Krepfle does an amazing job of making the birthday child feel special on their birthday. She has a special birthday chair that Brooke got to sit in all day..
Towards the end of the day, they sang to Brooke, circled around her, and each student said aloud something they liked about Brooke. That was my favorite part. It was so sweet to hear her classmates say such kind things about my little girl, especially the boys' comments like, "You have pretty hair" and "I like your barrettes".
Mommy brought dirt cups for a birthday treat at the end of the school day.
It was great day with my girl!
