Just in case..

My daughter is a junk hoarder. This challenges me as a mom because I don't like clutter. Even if my house is a mess, it is a mess of piles and I know exactly where everything is. I'm not a neat freak by any stretch of the imagination, but I do get great pleasure in throwing things away. I love to purge, toss, donate, expunge! Brooke has a passion for giving old things new life. I'm trying to see it as a strength since I know God made her this way for a reason, but it challenges me. She really hates to throw anything away and lectures me that anything of hers that I toss will end up in the landfill FOREVER!! She's too smart for my own good. I have to be very sneaky about getting in her room to minimize all the extras that she accumulates and I have sent her to tears over throwing out some "perceived treasures". Today I stumbled upon her latest collection.

She has filled her bathroom stool with toilet paper rolls.. just in case she needs them. Love that quirky girl!
