Our sweet Ali girl had such an amazing year in kindergarten! We were blessed to get the wonderful Mrs. Krepfle for a second time. Ali learned so much. Not just about letters and numbers, but about patience, tolerating annoying classmates, saying your sorry and making friends.. you know, the really important stuff.
On May 29, Ali and her fellow kindegarteners entered the church with Pomp and Circumstance playing in the background.
The kids took the stage and sang a few songs, recited some memory verses and a poem.
Then each kindergartener was called up on stage, one at a time, for special recognition from their parents. Daddy read a letter from him and mommy to Ali telling her how proud we are of our little "big" girl.
Ali's Kindergarten Graduation Letter:
Alixandra Raine,
You are our lioness. God has given you bold strength paired
with a nurturing and caring heart. We see your gentle sweetness in the way you
comfort someone who is hurting or encourage the person who needs it most. Your
boldness shines through in the way you fight for the things that you believe.
The Ali standing with us today is not the same Ali we
dropped off on the first day of kindergarten. Today’s Ali is stronger and
smarter. She is confident and courageous. And she is so very silly. Your
laughter is one of our favorite sounds in the whole world and your fun energy
lights up the room.
God has plans for your life that are bigger than you can
dream. This world needs strong believers who are not afraid and who are willing
to live what they believe. This world also needs the gentle, sweet love you so
freely give with your hugs, smiles and encouragement. Your daddy, mommy, sister
and brother know what a huge blessing you will be to the world because we have
already experienced what a blessing you are to us.
Always remember to chase after the passions that God puts in
your heart and then hang on tight because your adventures are just beginning. We
love you always and forever, no matter what.
Love,
Daddy &Mommy
