Our sweet girl, who has such a passion for art, was in the Northland paper this weekend. Each week they insert a piece of artwork that the kids have completed in children's church and this week it was Brooke's! I was so surprised when I saw it. She had already gone to bed, but I yelled upstairs and called her down to confirm it was really hers. She said, "yes, that's mine" very nonchalantly and then ran back upstairs to bed. And while I realize that the church paper is a far stretch from the Smithsonian, a mother can't help but be proud of every little thing her girl does!
