Sewing Lesson

Brooke came to me the other day and said she wanted to make a pillow and blanket for her Build-A-Bear (which is actually a bunny). It seemed like a great opportunity to give her a basic lesson in sewing and she took right to it. We went to the craft store and she picked out the colored felt she wanted to use. While Ali was napping, I taught her how to sew a pillow.

Then she cut out little flowers for the blanket and sewed them on for decoration.

She was very excited about her finished projects!
